A sports and spa complex for TOPGYM in Thailand, 1324 m². The brand builds its programme around a single line, “If not now, then when?”: training is treated as part of a deliberate life, and the club as a community inside which one can still be alone. The method follows from that. Every zone is written as its own emotional scenario, and the scenarios are deliberately opposed to one another.

The form is set by the training hall, 706 m² of open floor with no structural walls, where the areas are separated by light, by mirrors and by light screens, the combat zone with its ring among them. The brand aesthetic works at full strength here: deep black, metal, concrete textures, panoramic mirrors around the perimeter and violet RGB light that changes the reading of the volume through the day.

The stretching studio next door sounds different. It is cut off from the noise of the hall and given its own light and music, a pink and violet glow, planting, and reinforced ceiling fixings for aerial hammocks. The spa moves further still: a warm sand palette, terracotta, diffused light, tropical plants hung overhead. One condition runs through all three registers. Heat, humidity and heavy rain decided the materials and the ventilation, which keeps the air dry without blowing onto anyone mid-exercise.
