This restaurant in Bali was conceived as something different from the typical island dining experience. The client envisioned a place inspired by the atmosphere of a European family restaurant — warm, welcoming, and filled with a sense of home.

The project draws inspiration from Mediterranean traditions of long lunches and lively family dinners, where several generations gather around the same table and evenings effortlessly stretch late into the night.

The interior combines Bali's laid-back spirit with European comfort and subtle references to traditional Southern European brasseries. Arches, textured glass, natural wood, and soft lighting create a setting equally suited for a slow breakfast or a large family gathering.

Rather than relying on literal Mediterranean imagery, the design speaks through atmosphere: the warmth of materials, tactile surfaces, natural light, and a genuine sense of hospitality. The result is a space that evokes memories of travels through Italy or the South of France while remaining deeply connected to Bali.
